Spring is in the air and the planting season is drawing nearer. For this project we utilized the rotary attachment to engrave clay flower pots we painted ourselves. These personalized pots are perfect for any gardener or plant-lover.
We used a 45-watt Helix with the following settings: 40% speed, 100% power.
The first step is spray paint your pots. It is extremely important to apply even coats of paint to the pots. If your layers are uneven, the laser may get through some and not others, leaving a spotty engraving behind.
After your pots are evenly painted and thoroughly dry, follow these steps:
The project is ready to go - run it with suggested speeds and powers for your wattage of laser.
